Elections for the JCR Executive Committee are held every term (4th week in Michaelmas, 5th week in Hilary and 6th week in Trinity).

We use the STV method of voting, stating a first preference for the candidate you want the most, then a second preference for your next favourite etc.

Voting goes on between 8am and 8pm on election day in the JCR.

During your first term there will be elections for a number of committee posts, one of which has to be filled by a first year - a great chance to get involved in College life outside your study straight away.
