College Nurse: Mrs Jan Fleming. Room 7:1 Tel: (2) 79639
The College Nurse deals with minor ailments, dressings etc. She also visits Junior Members confined to their rooms in College by illness.

Surgery times (during term only):

Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays 9.00 a.m. - 11.00 a.m.
Tuesdays and Thursdays 9.00 a.m. - 10.00 a.m.

The Lodge may be able to reach Mrs Fleming at other times if she is needed urgently.

Dentist: Ox Brookes run a dental clinic called Studental and they have agreed to allow all students from the university to go there for check ups and more urgent work. The gov. has abolished registration so when you phone for an appointment you just need to say which college you are from and to take your student card with you as proof. There are leaflets about Studental outside the nurse’s room.

Junior Members confined to their rooms by illness must ensure that a message to that effect is conveyed as soon as possible to the Lodge for the College Nurse. Meals can be supplied in rooms in College if necessary.

Emergencies. Emergencies requiring First Aid should be notified as soon as possible to the Lodge or to the Accommodation Manager in the Hostels. Emergency Medical boxes are kept in College in the Lodge, the Kitchen and the College Office, and at Exeter House and, Stapeldon House . In medical emergencies when First Aid is not adequate arrangements will be made to transport the patient to hospital.

Condoms. There is a condom machine at the bottom of staircases 6 and in the basement of staircase 10.
